About me, as an artist.

I am currently attending my local community college and enrolled in the most advanced painting course available to art majors there, Painting III. There is another, more advanced course offered there, and it is distinctly designed for professional artists. That specialty course is called Advanced Painting. Yet, I can't enroll in that course until I successfully finish Painting III. I would definitely like to take that course too though, as there are many local artists who regularly enroll in it. All these folks have enjoyed varying successes in my region as professtional artists. Thus, taking that course would be great for establishing even greater professional networking opportunities in my life. If anything else, that highly unrestricted course would allow me to interact better and more often with other, similarly minded folks; I truly feel I am finally ready for it all.

I have been an artist for my entire life, more than a few decades, actually.

I have always fallen back on my artistic ability to accrue the most enjoyable, challenging, and best paying jobs of my life. I have sold fine art, done custom matting and framing, and suffered through sign-painting as a professional artist. As a custom frame designer in Wyoming, I won a few regional awards, including 1st Place and Best in Show in the Rocky Mountain Regional Custom Framers Competition in 2002 or 2003.
